Canadian Dietitians Insurance Program Effective April 1, 2011

Providing Professional and Commercial General Liability Insurance for practicing Canadian Dietitians.

Program Features

  • Available to all practising Canadian Dietitians. No membership fees as there is no requirement to belong to any national or provincial association.
  • Protection for all areas of your work, in whatever sector you practice, including volunteer, consulting and free professional advice.
  • Coverages meet or exceed recommended Provincial requirements.
  • Insurance services provided by Hub InternationalSinclair Cockburn, Canada’s largest broker.
  • Insurance policy provided by Trisura Guarantee Insurance Company, a nationally licensed insurer.

  • $5,000,000 per loss
  • $5,000,000 annual aggregate
  • No Deductible

 

  Commercial General Liability

  • $500 Deductible

 
  • $25,000 for Disciplinary Legal Expenses
  • $100,000 for Criminal Defence Reimbursement

 

  • Bodily Injury and Property Damage
  • Personal and Advertising Injury
  • $500,000 Tenants Legal Liability

 

Premiums: Total cost $220 annual & 8% pst..  For a April 1st to April 1st policy term. Policies taken out midterm are full premium for the first 6 months and 50% thereafter.

Taking out the coverage
